How to Get Level 99 Firemaking on Runescape

Firemaking is one of the easiest lvls in runescape however keep in mind that no lvl is easy to get to 99 you need money and time however hopefully this guide will help. You need an axe and a tinderbox. Also firemaking is a money spending skill in the future so you need a money making way, try mining and fishing.

Steps

  1. Begin by woodcutting logs or evergreens, take a bronze axe and a tinderbox only. Burn every log you cut until 15 woodcutting and nearly 19 firemaking which means 97 logs or 5 inventories.
  2. Now cut and burn oak logs until you reach 40 woodcutting.
  3. When you reach 40 woodcutting begin cut willows and burn every log you get, don't go to draynor though choose a deserted place where you can cut and burn quickly.
  4. Buy a rune axe, it may seem expensive but you need it, its the 2nd best axe in the game, beaten only by the dragon axe and you only need it once.
  5. If you are a member switch to maple logs at 60 woodcutting and burn them, if not continue with willows.
  6. When you reach 75 woodcutting willows you should either buy maples or begin cutting and burning yews or selling and buying maples with the money you make.
  7. When you reach 92 firemaking (about 2mill) and burn them, this takes a long time and you should have breaks.

 Tips

  • good thing to do is listen to music while training.

Warnings

  • Do not waste all your time on runescape, it is unhealthy.
  • Do not spend all your runescape time to get to 99 firemaking, you'll get bored. Runescape is made to have fun.
  • Do buy a dragon axe, its worth it.

 Things You'll Need

  • A lot of patience
  • A lot of time
  • Other money making skills
  • A tinderbox
  • A bronze axe
  • Rune axe
  • Dragon axe(Members only)

How to Achieve Level 99 in Woodcutting for Runescape

Acquiring a 99 is not an easy thing to do. It'll be time consuming. Luckily, this particular skill isn't expensive at all. Read on to find out effective ways for getting experience.

Steps

  1. Cut Normal Trees when you begin. These aren't hard to find, they are scattered all over the land. Simply use a Bronze Axe to chop them down. In no time, you'll be gaining experience.
  2. Once you have achieved Level 15, congratulations. You can now move on to Oak Trees. A little difference between Normal Trees and Oak Trees is that Oak Trees can give you more then one log for each tree. This makes the entire process quicker. Okay, so you can go to Varrock and chop them there for the best experience.
  3. If you have achieved Level 30, congratulations again on a job well done. Now, my personal advice is for you to stay at Oak Trees until roughly level 40. This will make cutting Willow Logs, which become available at Level 30, a LOT quicker and easier to cut. Also, Willow Logs are the second FASTEST experience for this skill in the game. The fastest (which is harder to achieve access to, is teaks). Of course, it becomes more obvious when you're a higher level, but for now, you can stay cutting Willow Trees until you're a few more steps up the ladder.
  4. This isn't so much of a step as a reminder. Or, a helpful hint. Willow Trees are the fastest experience in all of Runescape. Other trees may give more experience for each log you cut, but Willow Trees give a fair bit, and you get a large amount of logs from them. Basically, what I'm saying here is, if you want to get Level 99 as fast as you can, you should stick to Willow Trees. Or for the go-getter player, you can try for teaks. Teaks are the fastest experience in the game. It's been proven that you get as much as 20-30k more experience per hour.
  5. If you're not anxious, and you want a bit of GP while your at it, you can cut Yew Trees ( located at Seers Village, and Varrock, the two best places, along with the southeast corner of gnome stronghold ) once you reach Level 60, or Magic Trees at level 75 (the most profit can be gained with these) which can be located at Seers Village as well, or in the Elf Village (only accessible if you've completed a quest which are very, very slow to cut and often very crowded.

 Tips

  • Woodcutting may seem like the most boring skill, but it's actually one of the easiest ways to get money.
  • When cutting down high level logs, always sell them to other players - fletchers will buy these for crazy prices.
  • Try to keep up with your axes. Buy the next advanced axe when you achieve the level to use them and sell your current one. Just remember that you need the matching attack level to wield it, for example level 40 for the rune axe and level 60 for the dragon axe (members only).
  • Woodcutting skill capes cost 99k (as do all skill capes)and are MEMBERS ONLY!
  • If you are bored, do not move to another skill, invite a friend to cut trees with you, or join into conversations with other fellow cutters. Listen to music or watch TV while you're cutting, but beware of the "Warnings".
  • If you also have a house in Rimmington with a servant and you also have 60+ woodcutting, cut yews by the portal and use your servant as a banker.(optional)*
  • With autoers gone due to update keep going for your goal it may be boring, but it's faster than it used to be.
  • When you advance a level, reach 10k xp to go on yew logs, then switch to willow for the last 10k xp!!
  • Make sure you have enough patience for this or you will get bored easily.
  • Long-term plan: Achieve at least 100,000 exp. per day for about 3 months (I recommend Willows) and you will automatically earn the title Master of Woodcutting. =)
  • To reach level 99 in any skill, you would need to have obtained exactly 13,034,431 exp.
  • You may run into a random event battle, so you can either run away or have a weapon on hand to defend yourself.
  • Watch out for trees that move their branches and have red eyes. These are called Ents, and your axe will break if you attempt to chop them down. These are unpredictable random events, so keep your wits about you.
  • Be sure to glance at the computer at least every couple minutes or so because you could be under attack!
  • Don't be tempted to cheat to get ahead, you WILL get caught and banned, and it's just not worth it.
  • For various aspects of Woodcutting in Runescape, there are certain requirements before you do certain things. For example, Maple Trees and Magic Trees, which are two high level trees, are both found in areas that you can only access if you are a Member. Also, the Dragon Hatchet is an item you can only obtain with a Membership status.
  • (JAGEX has taken off this random event and it will no longer happen)While you are woodcutting, be careful of your head flying off of your axe. If the axe head falls off, it will be somewhere in the same screen as you, so keep sharp. This is VERY important if you're using an expensive axe, as people may not want to give you the head back if they find it.
